...around my world in 60 days...

wow!!!
..i can't believe it has already been 2 months since our lil' baby vea came into this world...

as you may notice, i just couldn't get myself to sit still for even 30min to update her blog until today...shows how we really had our hands full huh daddy buitenissig?!..hehehe...

well...we realize that when it comes to being new parents, we learn something new everyday!!!...i myself went through the baby blues...which includes breastfeeding issues (i only started lactating after 5 days), trying to heal from minor labour stitches, lack of sleep, lack of appetite (even constipation!!!), adapting to a new environment (i was back in my in-laws place, when my hubby was back in KL for work)...basically, trying hard (and sometimes too hard) to be the supermom...

but at the same time...beautiful things happen along the way that kept me going...being able to love and care for our new baby gurl...

of course, the 1st month we had encountered the loud frantic cries in the late evenings which was due to colic problems which were eventually solved, alhamdulillah...and even though she used to hate having a bath, she enjoys it a lot more now!yay!..hehehe...her sleeping times are still unpredictable, but it has never been a big problem (thanx to a few years experience in the world of entertainment production, lack of sleep is part of my life!haha)...

alhamdulillah...today, with the support of our family members and dear friends, we have been able to pull through...now that i've started working, my dearest mom has offered to babysit her...and oh gosh, my dad,mom & brother have enjoyed her company so much that its so hard to bring her back home!hahha...fortunately, being in the insurance line, i have flexibility of time that i am able to nurse her during lunch and be with her throughout the day!

our lil' baby vea is now a little over 4.5kgs, and has taken her 1st two vaccinations without complications...unfortunately, she just caught a flu and slight cough (sorry dear!mommy wish she didn't have to pass it on to you!!)...oh and yes, she loves to laugh and smile!smile!smile!!!! ...just like mommy and daddy...

*sigh*...aren't we blessed daddy buitenissig?

After meal time, my wife and I put her either on the couch or on her carry-tot and face her outside the apartment. She'll stare outside and attend to the birds chirping outside. My own little little miracle is just so friggin' cute.

The title caught you eye?! Lol. It's so funny when Vea is on her way to dreamland. She keeps on making these cute and funny little faces. Just makes me wanna wake her up and play with her some more.

as we grow older, god almighty will give us both joy and pain..and most times we always think of the worst that can happen..academic,career,finance, and especially love....but this experience: entering PARENTHOOD...makes you forget all the regrets you've accumulated all these years...I'Allah...

thank you...Allah the Almighty...for all the strength..couldn't have done it without YOU...to my dear hubby as-shafiq farouqie, for being part of my life ..you are so good at this new parent thing..heheh..the award for Coolest Dad but Sometimes Too Cool (during pregnancy, labour) Award should go to you!...hahha...i've never cried so hard like i did when u 1st left us in seremban to get bk to work in kl...*sigh*

Our fathers, Papa & Ayah: tq for keep reminding us about taking things seriously...Mama & Ibu: I SWEAR i don't know how u guys gave birth more than ONCE!hahaha...its no wonder we're always reminded that 'syurga di bawah tapak kaki ibu'...our dear siblings and their children, Taheera, Mat, Aisha & Ashraf; Joof, Marwan, Danial,Adam & Nadia, Byrd Rafiyuddin, Niena,Ash,Syairah,Wani,Afiq; A.Zayed & K.Sharifah, Yona Dellianty and my family kesayangan di Jakarta...wow, my baby is surely lucky to have all of you!!!!

my own little miracle!

as most of you may have already known, i was officially a dad at 6.17pm on Valentine's day to a beautiful baby girl. little miss nurvea nadyne. baby vea was born 3.25kg in weight and 51cm in height, a beautiful and healthy baby indeed.

now comes the gratitude speech. first of all i would like to thank GOD for giving me my own little miracle, all my friends and family who was always by our side and has shown lots of love and plenty of support. i don't think there are any words to describe the level of gratitude and thankfulness that i'm feeling rite now. maybe i should say "i'm feeling on top of the world" but i know for sure that it's much more than that. u know what i mean?

in other words, i'm so freakin' happy i could lose a ball and still be the happiest man alive. does that explain it? hahahaha.

anyways, back to the thanking. to my dear wife, I ♥ U very much and i need not say more. ayah and ibu, lotsa love to you guys for loving me the way you do, letting me mature in my own way, i truly appreciate it. my inlaws, for finally letting me marry your beautiful daughter and get a beautiful daughter of my own. awin, aishah, deqwan, wani, kech, daus, ka'an, akhmal, ejoy, intan (although not physically here but we know your heart is), tarboy, pet, nuek, kate, byrdhoul, meme and all the rest of the cascorio familia, thanks a zillion for being there with us throughout the whole pregnancy. i truly appreciate all that you guys have done to show love and support to the both of us.
